Welcome to my scrumptious, stylish, spooky, happy place!

Public School 310

Public School 310

Positioning itself as "an education in the art of food and beer," Culver City gastro pub Public School 310 certainly delivers on both counts. With its composition book-style menus, bright and airy patio, and darkly modern interior filled with slick, communal tables, the restaurant is just as perfect of a spot for happy hour as it is for Sunday brunch -- both over excellent beer, of course! Executive chef Phil Kastel of the Daily Grill (the restaurant itself is a part of Grill Concepts LLC as well) has generated a menu that ranges delightfully from chorizo mac & cheese, to Irish Stout short rib, to chicken sausage & cheddar grits, all of which are complemented by the restaurant's rotating draughts, bottles, and cans -- the menu itself is essentially 50% food, 50% booze! Located in the former home of Jason Travi's Fraîche, Public School 310 is the perfect, larger counterpart (with a significantly bigger menu) to its Downtown sister restaurant, Public School 612 -- it's certainly hard to beat brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, 20 taps, and completely addictive deviled "Speck & Eggs!"
