Welcome to my scrumptious, stylish, spooky, happy place!

L.A. Chapter

L.A. Chapter

When seeing a show at The Theatre at Ace Hotel downtown (as I did a few weeks back when my boyfriend and I saw Marilyn Manson!), I always think it would be a crime to not combine such an outing with a meal at L.A. Chapter.  The beautiful little brasserie, helmed by Jud Mongell and Ken Addington (of Brooklyn’s Five Leaves and Nights and Weekends), places its emphasis on locally sourced, seasonal, fresh ingredients, and revels in the idea of “introducing new flavors to familiar ideas.” The likes of a Liquorish Rubbed Duck Breast with Tokyo turnips, chanterelles, and huckleberry jus; or a Marinated Flat Iron Steak with red cabbage puree and sun chokes are more than enough to keep me running back for more at this elegant little gem off the lobby of the hotel.
