Littlefork - Brunch
Littlefork is one of my favorite Hollywood brunch spots – just west of Cahuenga at the corner of Wilcox and Selma Avenues, it’s a quick Uber ride away for me (which is ideal when partaking in the restaurant’s endless Bloody Mary’s, Bloody Larry’s, Mimosas, and Punch!). I’ve raved in the past about Chefs Jason Travi’s and Josh Rabbie’s Californian take on Northeast Atlantic fare, and their brunch menu delivers the same deliciously creative approach to this regional cuisine. From the citrus-cured Salmon Tartine with sauce gribiche, egg, capers, and house-made dill pickles; to the Smoked Pork Belly Benedict on corn bread with poached eggs and pimento hollandaise; to the genius Chilaquiles Poutine with salsa verde, house-pickled serranos, queso fresco, and scrambled eggs; Travi and Rabbie create an elegantly unique spin on these classic dishes in such a way that I can’t help but over-order (which only means I get to enjoy leftovers for dinner as well!).
