Connie & Ted's
Nearly-spring Los Angeles makes me dream of the warm and languid days to come, and Connie & Ted’s makes that all the more tangible with their New England-style seafood. Chef and partner Michael Cimarusti (also chef and owner of double Michelin star-rated restaurant Providence) and Executive Chef Sam Baxter have crafted a menu that is straight out of the North Atlantic, a nod to Cimarusti’s grandparents (the restaurant’s namesakes), who spent much of their lives in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. With a daily selection of fresh raw oysters, three types of clam chowder (as well as a wonderful sampling of all three), grilled catch of the day, and classics like lobster rolls and batter dipped cod, Connie & Ted fully encapsulates that perfect taste of the sea, even in the midst of West Hollywood.
