Vampire Milkshake

I figure what better month than October to continue creating the ghoulish sweets from Christine McConnell’s cookbook Deceptive Desserts: A Lady’s Guide to Baking Bad. This absolutely delicious Vampire Milkshake requires less elaborate construction than other recipes in the book (though I do love the melting chocolate dripping “blood” used to adorn the rim!), and I highly recommend blending up a batch of these bourbon and chocolate ice cream shakes with ease when you’re craving an addictively boozy treat.
