Hanging Tree Tuaca Apple Cider

As LA grows cold and the winter rain clouds roll in, I love curling up with a glass of hot apple cider in the evening. If the Hanging Tree from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" had been an apple tree (prior to being appropriated for more deathly purposes, of course), I like to think its apples, when juiced, would taste delicious spiked with Tuaca, a vanilla and citrus liqueur that adds a festive kick to any hot holiday beverage. In a pinch, Trader Joe's apple cider does the trick!
