Chile Macho

On toasty (nearly) summer days, I find there's something incredibly satisfying about a perfect bowl of chips and salsa (who am I kidding...like I need any sort of excuse?).  One of my favorite new spicy condiments I've recently stumbled upon is the Chile Macho from South Central Farmers Cooperative, sold at the Atwater Village Farmers' Market.  Its blend of simple ingredients cuts right to the chase with tangy AMAZING heat from the roasted chile serranos, and needs only the accompaniment of roughly chopped avocado, sour cream, and homemade peanut oil-fried corn chips to make you want to swiftly consume the entire little 4-oz jar!
