Vintage Tea Party Marshmallows
I love entertaining, and I'm constantly on the lookout for adorable, signature little bites to add to my culinary repertoire. I was pleased as punch to stumble upon Angel Adoree's The Vintage Tea Party Book, which caters to my love of both retro style and food, as well as my Anglophile nature. The book is essentially a printed extension of her Hackney-based Vintage Patisserie, famed for throwing fabulous customizable tea parties with vintage china settings and the most adorable, elaborate sweets. Flipping through the pages, I knew instantly that I wanted to recreate Adoree's staging of her homemade Marshamallows (you can follow a similar recipe here from HRH Martha Stewart as well!), though I added a bit of green MonsterStewart flair, assisted in part by my Bride of Frankenstein custom painted head vase from To Hell in a Handbag. I don't recommend whipping these up on a warm summer day, but they do make the perfect, colorful party treat!
