ink.sack Picnic at Cinespia
One of my favorite summer traditions is attending Cinespia's outdoor movie screenings at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery - I live within walking distance from the landmark, making it a hassle-free, delightful evening event. I love the ease of packing up a picnic basket full of pre-made dinner fare (and a bottle of wine, of course!), and for this past Saturday's showing of the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," I opted for sandwiches from Michael Voltaggio's ink.sack. Just a few storefronts down from ink restaurant, the shop's menu is an ever-growing array of Voltaggio's refined take on tried and true classics - from the Cuban to the Cold Fried Chicken, the sandwiches are packed with flawless, delicious ingredients that are the makings of an ideal picnic, wherever you may be!
