Gladstones

Longer, sunny days truly make it feel like the Los Angeles summer is just on the horizon.  Gladstones in Malibu has always epitomized that beachy LA vibe to me – from back when my family and I used to slide into the restaurant’s old concrete-bench tables for a late-summer meal, to relaxing over cocktails with my boyfriend on its newer, sbe-stylized patio.  Whether keeping it light with the catch of the day and a tuna tartare, or indulging in fried calamari and creamy clam chowder, it’s hard to find much at all wrong with life as you stare off at the rolling waves with a tropical drink in hand.
